It's been one week

I still love my job. I know I know... I'm only one week in but, it's pretty fun. I have actually done some work.. not a lot but some. I'm so sad the Olympics are over. At least my TV addiction will slow down. I didn't want to do anything but watch the Olympics.








I love the Office and can't wait for it to return. One whole hour! I'm so excited! Dan came up this past weekend and we had a great time! We got to hang out with Sam & Ewald. That was fun! We went to Papa's, the place with the dog, and roosters. It was a good time hanging out and catching up. We didn't really do much else but, relax. I got a new phone! I bit the bullet and bought an iPhone. I still can't believe I did it but, I did and LOVE it! It's so cool. I'm still learning new tricks but, it's all good.

I finally got back into watching 24 with my dad. We have been close to ending season one for like a month. We will hopefully finish tonight! Yay!

I can't wait for the long weekend ahead. Labor Day! Woo! I love it! Jonesboro, here I come!

The Working Life...

I'm back! This time I'm back with a "real" job. I finally feel somewhat established in society. My first two days have gone really well. I get along with everyone and really fit in there. I feel like I have already worked there for a while. I can't wait to actually start doing work but, I am not complaining about hanging out and learning from everyone right now. It's so fun. I think I am really going to love it here.

Things have been good. I am up for a new phone and can't decide what to get. I think I am leaning towards an iPhone but, who knows if I feel like shelling out that much money. I think it would be worth it though.

Things with Dan couldn't be better. We see each other every weekend and talk on skype. I talk about him so much I'm sure people are tired of me talking about him. I don't care. He is great and I love getting to see him. The weekends are to short and I wish could go on forever.

I'm really glad it's almost fall. The weather is already so nice and I hope it stays this way. It's about time for the TV shows to start again and I'm so excited. This is probably my favorite time of year new TV shows. Oh, and PUMPKIN PIE CUSTARD! I want it so bad. already. my mouth is watering.

I love my job so far and I hope to be saying the same thing in 3 months.

In The Waiting Line

It seems since I graduated all I have done is wait. Now I'm not sitting around twiddling my thumbs and waiting. I am actually trying to do something about my situation while "waiting". I just want to know when is it going to be my turn. I guess this is the time in life when I learn some real patience. I recently got back out there on the job-hunt. I took about a month and a half hiatus because let's face it, after a lot of rejection, you just need a break. Well, I am back out there and so far... I've had one call back and one job offer. Yay! I gave myself two days to sit and think about it. I am sure I really want to take it but, I hate to say that money is a huge factor... I really think I can benefit here but, I need just a little more. Enough of that.

I went to the Altus Grapefest this past Friday. It was pretty fun, if it wasn't almost over when I got there. Still cool none the less. Dan had his first "encounter" with some real redneck white-trash people. They made me so mad because I knew they were acting that way on purpose. Ugh. I also went to the lake this weekend. So fun! Stayed on the biggest houseboat. It was so cool! We also got to ride jet skis and I actually had a successful attempt at wakeboarding. I loved it. I wish I could go to the lake more often. I can't wait for Friday to roll around again so I can see Dan. :D

Until then, I'll waste my time in the waiting line...

Viva la Vida...Live the Life

Dan came to visit this past weekend. The time we had together was to short and I think I am going to feel that way every weekend. I'm happy that we at least had a great weekend together. We went out for pizza at Papa's and it was our first time there and we loved it. I know we will be going back for sure. I won't get to see him this weekend and that makes me sad but, the next weekend I get to take a road trip with him to meet his grandparents and brother. It should be fun, I hope!

I pre-ordered the new Coldplay album Viva la Vida or Death and all his Friends. I must say Coldplay is my all time favorite band and I listened to the album the whole way through and I absolutely love it. After one thorough listen Lovers in Japan and Lost? are my favorite songs besides the two singles. I could do with the doubling of songs though but, other than that I think it is fantastic and I wish I was living the life. Someday I will find a job... It might take me a while but, it has to eventually happen. For now, I'm enjoying living with my parents... it can get boring at times but, it's not that bad. I started Weight Watchers with my mom. It's also kind of fun... I say that and I only one day in. So we'll see how the week goes. Lucky for me right now I get a lot of points. I'm enjoying learning some about portions and making better choices. It really sucks when you are hungry and shopping and just want a candy bar though.

I hope to start looking for jobs more seriously. I still think I am in that wallowing stage and I hope to snap out of it soon. I have some websites to do for free lined up... I just need to get better at some things but, I hope that will help my portfolio.

I am taking Whitney to a Butterfly Festival this weekend. I hope it is fun and we get to see some cool butterflies. Does that make me nerdy? :)

Clipped

It's always nice to be able to spread your wings and fly but, what isn't nice is having your wings clipped. I graduated college in December and have ever since been on the never ending job hunt. I had the luxury the past 5 months of being on my own, that taste of freedom in your mouth is so wonderful. I write all this to say I had my wings clipped and am moving back home for a cheaper way to pursue and hunt for that "job".

I guess it's not so bad. I get out of living with literally the worst roommate on the planet and spend more time with parents... though leaving my boyfriend behind is kind of sad because now I get to see him on the weekends instead of everyday. It will be very different. I hope to adjust easily.

I recently just had my 23rd birthday. I must say, probably the best birthday yet. I received some fantastic gifts from Dan. Season 1 & 2 of Scrubs, a dress from NY&Co, a Wii, and Mario Kart!!!!!!! I also went out to eat with some friends and to the movies. It was quite fun.

It's my last week of "freedom" and it's already almost over...
